If you're trying to locate a specific debt collection case in FinView, there are several strategies that you can use. The three main methods involve searching via:
- Personal information: Use the debtor's full name or part of it. You can also use contact information such as their email address, phone number, or physical address.
- Case numbers: If you have the unique FinView case number or the original customer case number, these can expedite your search.
- Invoice numbers: An alternative option is to search using the associated invoice number. However, keep in mind that because invoice numbers aren't exclusive to each case, this could return multiple results.
It's worth noting that using the FinView-generated case number tends to be the most efficient search method.
